Even during a vigorous run with fast arm movement (12km/h or 8 min-mile pace), the tracking doesn't skip a beat. The band is comfortable and does not slip. It doesn't have to be super snug to work. The signal can also be picked up by most gym equipment without the watch.
To recharge the unit, you have to unsnap it from the band, and insert it into a USB type charger that was made just for this Polar unit. The little charging unit is so small, I am afraid I am going to lose it. Other HR's just magnetically snap on while still on the band and charge the unit. We also noted that the battery life is around 20 hours, which is shorter than other sports oximeters out there (the usual being 30-40 hours.)

The ability to change the orientation of the display is an absolutely necessary feature, as it accommodates left and right hand dominant individuals, but also allows for rotation for reading the result of another person. No twisting your head around to see the display or getting used to reading results upside down.
It definitely takes longer than the usual no-app oximeter to get your results, but if that doesn't bother you, then you'd love this.
